However, fear not! We’ve got more new music suggestions than you can shake a stick at, and it’s all for your listening pleasure.
Kicking off this week’s round up is the beautiful Kelly Clarkson, who released her eighth studio album Meaning of Life. In terms of singles, we started off with the highly anticipated new banger from Selena Gomez and Marshmello. We were also treated to a stunning collab from Clean Bandit and Julia Michaels, which is sure to shake up the charts over the coming weeks.
The ladies of Fifth Harmony were on a roll this week too. Not content with dropping a collaboration with Pitbull, both Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui featured on new tracks. Dinah joins RedOne, Daddy Yankee, and French Montana for another Spanglish song called ‘Boom Boom’, whilst Lauren features on ‘In Your Phone’ with Ty Dolla $ign.
Elsewhere, we were treated to new tracks from Kygo & John Newman, Reggie’N’Bollie featuring Beenie Man, Laura Tesoro, Weezer, Barei, Jules Rendell, Sonali, Helen Connelly, Shaun Frank, Loïc Nottet, Loreen, and Ina Wroldsen.
Are you still with us? We hope so as we still have nine more tracks to share with you! Check them out below.
Sam Smith – ‘Burning’
With just a few more days to go until the release of Sam Smith’s sophomore album The Thrill Of It All, he dropped another instant grat track called ‘Burning’. Described as his ‘favourite’ and most personal song that he’s ever written, ‘Burning’ is guaranteed to hit you in the feels. Speaking about the song on Radio 1, Sam said: “I’m so ready for people to hear that song. I was going through a really tough time last year. I live in London and I went through a break up and I dealt with it in a bad way and I was going out way too much and I was burning in a way. I didn’t want to write which is a weird thing for me because music is therapy to me. But I couldn’t write so I had a six week gap of no writing and went in for the first day after that break and ‘Burning’ was the first song I wrote.”
Alan Walker – ‘All Falls Down’ featuring Noah Cyrus and Digital Farm Animals
‘All Falls Down’ is the latest offering from British-Norwegian producer Alan Walker. Teaming up with Noah Cyrus and Digital Farm Animals, the song is a feel-good, infectious offering which is guaranteed to make you want to dance. Speaking about the track, Alan said: “With this record I got the opportunity to collaborate with some amazing artists. Noah Cyrus’ voice is absolutely incredible! Ever since I first heard the topline, I’ve been in love with it and can’t wait for my fans to hear it as well. It has a refreshing production that still fits well within my signature sound, which is important for me to maintain as I evolve as an artist.” Noah added: “I’ve loved this record since the moment I heard it. It’s amazing to be a part of this song with such a badass dude.”
PRETTYMUCH – ‘Open Arms’
The newest boyband on the block, PRETTYMUCH, showcase their awesome harmonies on their new single ‘Open Arms’. Over the past few months, the boyband – which was formed by Simon Cowell – have showcased various different sides to their sound but ‘Open Arms’ truly cements them as a band to watch. The a cappella opening is incredibly hypnotising, and the RnB drop turns the song into a low-key bop. Mark our works when we tell you that PRETTYMUCH are going to be huge.
ARIA – ‘You Got Me Good’
‘You Got Me Good’ is the new single from ARIA, following on from ‘Hope’ and ‘Shot In The Dark’. The track communicates a darker realisation of relationship hardships and proves to be ARIA’s most personal release to date. Speaking about the track, ARIA said: “To quote Nina Simone… “You have to learn to get up from the table when love is no longer being served.” and in my case it was a musical partnership”.
BLESSED – ‘Pride’
Sisters Lauren and Georgia Morgan, aka BLESSED, are back at it again with another incredible new track. ‘Pride’ oozes 90’s vibes and has a slick R&B influence. Its accompanying music video pays homage to some of the iconic girl groups of the 90’s and 00’s. Speaking about ‘Pride’, BLESSED told Hunger: “‘Pride’ to us is about finding someone who you know has a wild streak in them like yourself. And when they unleash their wilder side, you want to be the one who tames them. We wanted our visuals to use bright vibrant colours as the song is playful and fun. Destiny’s Child has always been our all-time favourite girl group, which was definitely one of the inspirations behind the video along with some of the other iconic girl groups from that era.”

Hudson Taylor – ‘Feel It Again (Acoustic) ‘

It’s the first new track from the duo since the release of their 2015 album Singing for Strangers. The track has already impacted on the Irish charts and is set to create waves in the UK soon having been added to Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.
Happy Sometimes – ‘Love For The Weekend’
‘Love For The Weekend’ is the infectious new track from Happy Sometimes. Having dished up a string of high profile features this year, the track sees her collaborate with 15 year old Swedish Wonderkid Producer Elton Holmsten. Speaking about the track and collaboration, Happy Sometimes said: “I got sent some tracks from this Incredible 15-year-old producer, Elton Holmsten. We went back and forth sending ideas online before we finally met up in LA where we wrote ‘Love For The Weekend’. My music is usually pretty emotional and introspective so ‘Love For the Weekend’ shows a different side to me…I got to think outside of my head and just have fun with it. You can really feel that ‘Don’t give a fuck Only got Love For The Weekend’ attitude on this song.”
Carla’s Dreams – ‘Tu Si Eu’ featuring Inna
Eagle eyed readers will know that we’ve already featured the incredible ‘Tu Si Eu’ from Carla’s Dreams and Inna when it was released six months ago. However, the track was given a re-release this week, and quite frankly, it’s too good not to share twice.
